Mr Kunmi Fasanmade

Mr Kunmi Fasanmade is a highly trained and skilled consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon with an extensive repertoire of mouth, face, head and neck surgical procedures. He is passionate about providing the highest level of care possible to his patients and strives to offer a friendly and professional service. He currently practises at BMI The Chiltern Hospital and The Manor Hospital. 

He treats patients within all aspects of oral surgery, face and jaw surgery. Among his expansive range of expertise is removal of difficult complex or buried roots of damaged teeth, removal of difficult wisdom teeth, mouth cancer surgery; facial trauma; head and neck procedures, such as for head and neck lumps, cancer and reconstructive surgery; jaw cyst treatment; salivary gland surgery and oral mucosal lesions.

Initially a qualified Oral surgeon with the Dental Council, in 2002 Mr Fasanmade qualified as a doctor at the renowned Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Hospitals. After this, he underwent five years of specialist surgical training to further hone his skills at the South West Deanery. By 2010, he had achieved his consultant status and began working at the Oxford University Hospital Trust with a specialist interest in head and neck cancer.

He also dedicates his career to the teaching and training of future specialists - he held the posts such as the  Training Program Director for Health Education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the region of the Thames Valley and Oxford Deanery and secondary care representative to the Oxfordshire Local Dental Council. He is the current departmental lead clinician in Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust. What's more, he participates greatly to medical research and has presented at national and international meetings.
