- Mr Nicholson was kind and caring and took time and effort to explain and diagnose my eye condition. The clinic reception and nursing staff were friendly and efficient and appointments were running well to time.
- Very helpful. Explained findings clearly.
- I saw Mr Nicholson last summer with a very advanced cataract - I was completely blind in that eye. I was very anxious but he immediately put me at ease. He is calm and kind and clearly an expert in his field. The surgery was so perfectly carried out despite the fact I know it was a very challenging cataract as I'd left it so long! I had no problems after the operation and can now see again. The follow up from him was excellent. I'm medical doctor myself and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
- Luke Nicholson has been absolutely amazing - he was the still voice of calm which is just what I needed. It speaks of his expertise, experience and confidence that he listened (and was the first person to actually listen properly to me) and decided with me that we would not dive head first into treatment plans. He has been encouraging, supportive, and above all transparent which he delivers in the most professional but human way. An absolute gem of a doctor and a human being.
- I have seen Mr Nicholson on two occasions - each time at short notice, His review of my eye was exceptionally thorough, with appropriate tests (on the same morning) and I felt in very safe hands. Mr Nicholson has a very calm communication style and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend.
- I had an online consult with Dr Luke Nicholson. He was extremely kind and patiently heard through my genetic disposition with macular degeneration and its early onset that I had been diagnosed with. He informed me about the possible course of treatment, advancements in the field and pros and cons of the different treatments that could be available to me in the future. Not only did he have exceptional expertise in the area, he patiently explained to make sure I understood my options calmly.
