Mr Mano Sira

Mr Mano Sira is a highly experienced and trusted consultant oculoplastic and ophthalmic surgeon. He holds a substantive consultant post at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and has more than 20 years of experience in ophthalmology. Mr Sira specialises in all aspects of eyelid (functional and cosmetic) surgery, tear drainage surgery and cataract (phacoemulsification) surgery.

Mr Sira offers private consultations at the Lancaster Circle hospital, Lancaster and Greater Lancashire hospital, Fulwood, Preston and also sees private patients as part of a unique aesthetic multi-disciplinary team at Dr Fareeha Health & Wellness Clinic, Fulwood, Preston.

As a regional opinion in complex oculoplastic surgery, Mr Sira receives referrals from dermatologists, ENT, maxillofacial and plastic surgeons, and fellow ophthalmologists across Lancashire, South Cumbria, the Lake District and Cheshire. He previously served as a consultant oculoplastic surgeon at The Western Eye Hospital, London and Bristol Eye Hospital.

He was educated at Charing Cross & Westminster and Imperial College School of Medicine, London and Oxford University, with residency and fellowship training at internationally recognised centres including Moorfields Eye Hospital, Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre, Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, and The Marienhospital in Stuttgart. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. Mr Sira lives in the Forest of Bowland with his wife and children.
