He also holds the positions of director and lead clinician of the National Centre for Gamma Knife Radiosurgery in Sheffield and is clinical director at Thornbury Radiosurgery Centre, where he sees patients in private practice. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Radatz is an esteemed educator and program director for the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery for the Sheffield/Hull rotation, as well as an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield.

He has held various senior positions in professional bodies in the neurosurgical field, including his appointment as president of the British Radiosurgery Society and as the radiosurgery representative on a national neuro-oncological and vascular multidisciplinary team.   • After travelling 2 hours to meet him, with intense pain and as a self funding patient, he only gave me 5 minutes of his time. Only talked about surgery when clearly I was upset, I just wanted some sort of answers or help. No empathy shown. Instead I left his office crying.
