Mr Maulik Gandhi

Mr Maulik Gandhi is a leading consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Bingley and Birmingham. He specialises in shoulder surgery, elbow surgery and arthroscopy, alongside shoulder replacement, rotator cuff injury, shoulder instability/dislocation, and shoulder impingement. Mr Gandhi privately practises at the Yorkshire Clinic and The Westbourne Centre, while he also consults at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Gandhi is highly qualified, with a BSc (Hons) and MB ChB from the University of Manchester, an MPhil from the University of Salford as well as a FRCS (Tr & Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and an MFSTEd from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

In his clinical practice, Mr Gandhi employs advanced surgical techniques to address a wide range of shoulder and elbow conditions. He is committed to delivering personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring optimal outcomes and improved quality of life.

Beyond his clinical practice, Mr Gandhi is actively involved in research aimed at advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery. His contributions to research have led to several notable achievements and publications, enhancing the understanding and treatment of shoulder and elbow disorders. Mr Gandhi's dedication to excellence has been recognised through various awards and accolades in the field of orthopaedic surgery. 

Currently, Mr Gandhi is technical skills lead at his NHS trust, while he has been a course director, faculty member and facilitator at the Faculty of Surgical Trainers. He also was an honorary clinical tutor at the University of Birmingham. 

He is a proud member of various professional organisations including the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Elbow and Shoulder Surgery and the Faculty of Surgical Trainers (RCSEd), the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Medical Association.
