Dr Michael Michail is a highly esteemed Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and TAVI specialist based in London and Sussex who specialises in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology. His private practice is based at the Nuffield Parkside (Wimbledon), Cromwell Hospital, London Heart Centre and the Spire Montefiore Hospital.
He sees patients with a wide variety of conditions, including chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, blackouts, hypertension and cholesterol (lipid) disorders. Dr Michail also has a specialist interest in the management of coronary artery disease and aortic valve narrowing.
Dr Michail uses the latest in diagnostic technology, including ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. Dr Michail completed his medical training at St George's Hospital Medical School in London. Following this, he underwent cardiology training in prestigious tertiary centres in London, including The Heart Hospital UCLH and Barts Heart Centre. He subsequently completed a three-year PhD and interventional fellowship at MonashHeart in Melbourne, Australia in collaboration with University College London.
