Dr Natalie Brookes is a leading consultant ENT surgeon based in central London. She specialises in ear wax removal, laryngoscopy and rhinoplasty alongside functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), sinus surgery and tonsillectomy. She privately practises at The Harley Street ENT clinic, which she founded with her husband Dr Gerald Brookes in 2004.
Dr Brookes is highly qualified with a BA, a BM BCh (Oxon) and an MA. She also has a FRCS and a FRCS (ORL-HNS). She graduated in medicine from Trinity College, Oxford University, and then went on to train in general ENT surgery on the North Thames Surgical Rotation in London. Following this, she undertook specialised training in rhinology at Charing Cross, Royal Brompton and the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals.
Dr Brookes completed her rhinology and facial plastics training during clinical fellowships in Adelaide, Zurich, Paris and Stuttgart. She went on to be appointed as consultant rhinologist and ENT surgeon at Royal Free hospital and at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital.
She is a respected name in clinical education, and is an honorary senior lecturer in otolaryngology at the Institute of Laryngology and Otology. Dr Brookes' research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals and she has presented on numerous rhinology topics.
Dr Brookes is a member of various professional organisations including The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and The British Association of Otolaryngologists-Head & Neck Surgeons (ENTUK). She is also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS).
