- I put off getting help for a long time because I’m a man, and the stigma is real. I was scared I’d be blamed, laughed at, or just not believed about the abuse from my wife. In sessions, I didn’t have to prove anything. I felt taken seriously straight away. It helped me make sense of what had happened, deal with the anxiety and shame, and start making safer decisions without feeling rushed or judged.Doctor's response -Many thanks for your kind review. I appreciate it.
- I reached out because my husband was struggling with depression and anxiety, and I could see him slipping away from himself and our relationship. Getting him to agree to help wasn’t easy, but the way Dr Nick approached things made it feel manageable and respectful. Even after the first session, my husband became more like himself again, calmer, with fewer panicky moments, and more willing to talk more. I’m relieved we did it!Doctor's response -Many thanks for your kind review. I appreciate it.
- I started online therapy for depression when even getting through the day felt heavy. I was unsure about doing it remotely, but it turned out to work far better than I expected. Sessions with Dr Nick were thoughtful and focused. I felt listened to without pressure, and gradually things began to lift. It's been transformative.Doctor's response -Many thanks for your kind review. I appreciate it.
- I was honestly worried about doing a PTSD assessment online. Talking about certain memories isn’t easy for me, and I wasn’t sure how it would feel through a screen. Dr Nick listened carefully and was very understanding. I highly recommend Dr Nick.Doctor's response -Many thanks for your kind review. I appreciate it.
- I booked a BPD diagnostic assessment because I needed clarity, not assumptions. The process was thorough and I appreciated how carefully everything was explored before any conclusions were drawn. The final report was complete, clearly reasoned and accurately reflected both my history and current presentation. I was confident in its credibility and in the next steps outlined.Doctor's response -Many thanks for your kind review. I appreciate it.

- After months of feeling stuck, I finally decided to get help and I’m really glad I chose to see Dr Nick in Birmingham. From the first session he was calm, professional, and easy to talk to. He asked the right questions without making it feel like an interrogation, and he helped me understand what was actually driving my anxiety rather than just ‘coping’ with it.Doctor's response -Many thanks for your kind review.
