Dr Nikolaos Anatoliotakis is a respected consultant cardiologist, who treats patients in the Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire area. With over 20 years of international experience, Dr Anatoliotakis is an expert in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of numerous cardiological conditions, such as heart failure, arrhythmias like atrial fibrillation, chest pain, hypertension, palpitations, and post-Covid syndrome.
Dr Anatoliotakis graduated from the University of Crete, Greece in 1999, earning a doctorate in medicine. He then undertook a residency at the renowned UF Health Jacksonville, Florida, a well-known teaching hospital linked to the University of Florida. There, he was also a teaching assistant at the university, between 2004 and 2008. He then relocated to Athens, where he worked from 2014 to 2017.
Since 2017, he has worked for the Hywel Dda University Health Board, Wales as the lead Cardiologist in Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest. Privately, he treats patients at the Circle Werndale Hospital, Carmarthen. His main areas of expertise include heart failure, arrhythmias, like atrial fibrillation and ischaemic heart disease. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Anatoliotakis has published numerous peer-reviewed papers.
