Dr Nina Salooja is one of London's leading haematologists. She is an NHS consultant at Imperial NHS trust based at the Hammersmith site and is also an adjunct Associate Professor/Reader to the faculty of medicine, Imperial College. She is a specialist in general haematology conditions including diagnosis and management of anaemia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytosis, iron overload (including haemochromatosis) and iron deficiency. She is also an expert in thrombosis and haemostasis (blood clots and bleeding disorders), in particular deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. She has an additional specialist interest in the long term complications of stem cell transplantation.
Dr Salooja graduated from Oxford University in 1983 and completed her clinical training from St Thomas's Hospital in 1986.
