Miss Philippa Sangster

Miss Philippa Sangster is a distinguished consultant urologist with extensive experience in Andrology. She is a Consultant Urologist at University College London Hospital, where she leads the male infertility service. Additionally, she holds an honorary position as an Associate Professor in the field of reproductive health. Her academic background includes a degree in Psychology, an MBBS in Medicine from Guy’s and St Thomas’s Medical School in London, and an MSc in Urology, for which she was awarded the gold medal, as well as achieving the prestigious FRCS (Urol) qualification.

Miss Sangster’s career focuses on the treatment of male infertility, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and other endocrine-related conditions affecting men. She is an expert in microsurgical techniques, including surgical sperm retrieval (MicroTESE) and varicocele repair, areas in which she has earned international recognition. She also specialises in fertility preservation treatments, both before and after cancer therapies.

Miss Sangster combines her clinical practice with academic and educational commitments, ensuring a comprehensive approach to men’s health. She offers face-to-face consultations as well as video and telephone appointments, enabling patients both nationally and internationally to access her expertise.

Currently, Miss Sangster is practising at Cleveland Clinic Portland Place Outpatient Centre.
