Dr Pick Ngor Woo is an experienced consultant dermatologist practising in Northampton. Dr Woo specialises in the treatment of skin cancer, skin surgery, psoriasis, eczema, acne, and skin rashes.
She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1993 and completed dermatology training in Aberdeen, Manchester and Birmingham. She was appointed Consultant Dermatologist and Clinical Lecturer at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in 2004. Since 2007 she has been Consultant Dermatologist in Northampton General Hospital (NGH), and was clinical lead from 2008-2018. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr Woo has practised dermatology since 1999 She treats most skin conditions both for children and adults. She is a consultant dermatologist at both Circle Three Shires Hospital and Northampton General Hospital.
She has been the lead investigator for clinical trials on psoriasis and eczema, and has conducted research on many other skin conditions and surgery. She has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers and regularly reviews articles for the British Medical Journal. In 2018 she was project lead on the development of community dermatology clinics on Northamptonshire, which remain an important part of skin care in the county.
Dr Woo is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), the British Society of Dermatological Surgery (BSDS), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology (EADV), the British Society for the Study of Vulval Disease (BSVVD) and other leading dermatology associations.
