Mr Prakash Saha is a leading consultant vascular surgeon in London treating all aspects of vascular disease including those that affect arteries and veins. He has a specialist interest in using cutting-edge, key-hole technologies to treat patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), leg ulceration, varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease and aortic aneurysms.
Mr Saha trained at Guy's, King's and St. Thomas' Medical School and completed his higher surgical training in London and the South East. Following his PhD in vascular surgery he was awarded a prestigious NIHR Clinical Lectureship at St Thomas’ Hospital, which allowed him to have comprehensive training in both endovascular and open techniques for the treatment of the most complex vascular disease. Mr Saha completed his training with a specialist vascular fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia before returning to London to take up his Consultant position.
Mr Saha regularly lectures and helps train other surgeons from across the globe and has published widely. He has also led the development of innovative technologies that can help personalise the care of his patients.
