Mr Rafet Gazvani is a highly skilled consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist in reproductive medicine, based in Liverpool, Knutsford and Chester, with expertise in reproduction treatments, including in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and egg donation. In addition to menopause, he is also an expert in the treatment and management of fertility problems, such as infertility, recurrent miscarriage and recurrent implantation failure. He was named Guideline Lead for the Directorate of Reproductive Medicine and the Directorate of Gynaecology at Liverpool Women’s Hospital soon after.
Besides his highly-sought fertility care, Mr Gazvani is also a leading figure in research in his field, having published more than 80 academic publications in scientific journals and books. He regularly lectures in national and international meetings and is the leading author of and referee for various Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists guidelines and audits, including the “Management of Endometriosis”.
