Mr Rhys Williams is a highly respected consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in the knee and shoulder. In his role as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Cardiff, Mr Williams has spent over 26 years honing his expertise in shoulder and knee surgery.

In the field of knee replacement, Mr Williams has been involved in innovation in technique and design throughout his career, from computer-assisted knee surgery in the noughties to current patient-specific and kinematic balancing and alignment. Mr Williams is also involved in the design and introduction of new knee implants including a new medially-stabilised insert for total knee replacement.

In shoulder surgery, Mr Williams has specialised in stabilisation surgery and joint replacement doing over 30 shoulder replacement a year.
