Mr Rishi Chana

Mr Rishi Chana is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon practising in Windsor, Reading, Slough, and Banbury. He specialises in the lower limbs, performing hip and knee arthroscopies, hip and knee joint replacements, and hip preservation surgeries. He is also particularly qualified in robotic techniques, of which he has thorough experience. He has expertise in treating hip and knee pain, including arthritis.

Mr Chana qualified from the Royal Free Hospital Medical School in 1999. His training was undertaken with two prestigious fellowships in hip arthroscopy, one in Sydney, Australia, where he gained experience in performing high-quality joint replacements with enhanced rehabilitation, and the second with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He has diplomas from the University of Cardiff and the University of South Wales, which have further honed his expertise in sports and exercise medicine. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Mr Chana served as the Lower Limb Lead for Ashford & St Peter’s Hospital until 2017. He has developed a multidisciplinary team protocol for hip arthroscopy, which utilises the patients’ bone marrow cells that are augmented with collagen structures. He prides himself on creating tailored surgical plans for patients that employ cutting-edge but safe and tested technologies and techniques to ensure high precision and streamlined recovery. Mr Chana sees patients from all backgrounds, from young to old, with varying degrees of athletic activity and ability.
