- Terrible doctor. Especially for hyper mobility/hEDS. First appointment he said I have hEDS but he would like to run some more tests to rule other things out. Then he said he doesn’t believe in the hEDS criteria because a new one is being created. Such a waste of my time and moneyDoctor's response -Dear Patient, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. My goal is always to provide careful, evidence-based care, particularly with complex conditions such as hypermobility and hEDS. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when diagnostic opinions differ. The criteria for hEDS are currently under review internationally, and my intention in suggesting further tests was to ensure an accurate and comprehensive assessment before confirming a diagnosis. I never wish for patients to feel dismissed - only to feel confident that every possible factor has been properly explored. My team and I remain committed to supporting all our patients with understanding, respect, and thorough care. Wishing you all the best.
