Professor Ruth Whitby

Professor Ruth Whitby is a highly accomplished physician with over 30 years of experience in General Practice. Currently serving as Chair of General Practice at Cleveland Clinic London, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to patient care. Professor Whitby specialises in general and family medicine, providing dedicated care to patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include optimising and improving patient well being, with a special interest in mental health conditions such as stress, anxiety, and depression.

A strong advocate for preventive care, Professor Whitby places significant emphasis on health screenings and personalised treatment plans to promote long-term well-being. She holds a medical degree from King’s College London, along with a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology, and graduated with first-class honours in neuroanatomy.
