- Professor Purkayastha has been excellent from start to finish. His bedside manner immediately put me at ease, and he explained everything clearly and calmly. I felt fully informed and supported throughout. At six weeks post-op, everything has gone exactly as he said it would and the outcome has been excellent. I’m extremely grateful for his expertise and care, and would highly recommend him.
- Professional, kind, informative, friendly and make me feel at ease. I had an excellent patient experience and will certainly recommend Prof Sanjay Purkayastha to my friends and family.
- Prof Purkayastha and his team including anaesthetist Alex and the whole Lindo Wing staff were exceptional. He probably had one of the most anxious patients yet managed to calm me down and gain confidence. Dr Purkayastha has helped me and explained everything so well. Thank you for looking out for me and performing a surgery I was scared of but making it feel minimal. I can barely see the scars on my body! To the Lindo Wing staff, thank you for looking after me overnight and just being lovely!
- I’ve had an excellent experience with Prof Purkayastha - efficient communication and planning of pre-surgery steps, painless and stress free surgery and quick recovery with excellent aftercare as needed.
- Prof Purkayastha has treated me in an emergency situation and I felt at every step extremely well looked after and am thankful to have him as my doctor.
- Professor Purkayastha was reassuring and professional during the many consultations I had and later when I went into the hospital for surgery. He gave clear explanations and was very thorough throughout the process, making clear all the benefits and risks of the surgery. His anaesthetist, Dr Alex Wickham, was also charming, reassuring and thorough. The surgery went extremely well and I felt safe, well cared for and in excellent, skilled hands throughout. Thank you Professor P.
