Mr Saqlain Sadiq is a consultant ophthalmologist practicing in the South East of England with Optical Express. He specialises in refractive lens exchange, laser vision correction, and cataract procedures.
Mr Sadiq qualified in 2012 from the Army Medical College Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and pursued further training with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, before continuing in the UK with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, of which he was made member in 2020. He undertook advanced specialist training in cataract and refractive surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
With the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Mr Sadiq is a faculty member who serves as an examiner for the Queen Mary University of London medical student examinations in addition to conducting corneal workshops. Aside from his involvement in medical practice and education, Mr Sadiq partakes in charitable endeavours, such as the Layton Rahmatullah Benevolent Trust, the largest NGO in Pakistan, providing care to thousands in impoverished communities.

- Just had my lens replacement done,life changing, now with out glasses. I can say all the staff are fantastic, Sasha & Shapiqa to mention just two of them. The operation was very quick,my surgeon Saglain Sadiq was fantastic, talked to me throughout the procedure, highly recommend to anyone who is looking to improve their life.
- Absolutely amazing. From the first consultation to the after care following lens replacement surgery the Bristol team have been incredible and the operation hugely successful. A special shout out to my surgeon Dr Sadiq, Nigel the anaesthetist, Naomi the nurse and Ben the optometrist. Not to mention Robert, Douglas and Dominic in the Glasgow office. Highly recommended!
