Mr Sarp Keskin

Mr Sarp Keskin is a highly reputable consultant urological surgeon and stone lead at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and an honorary visiting professor of urology at Koç University, Istanbul. He is an associate professor with both clinical and academic expertise in kidney stone disease and endourology.

Mr Keskin qualified in medicine and completed higher surgical training in urology, holding MD and MS research degrees. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons [FRCS(Urol)] and a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU).

Mr Keskin trained at centres across the UK and internationally. His development has included experience at leading institutions such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA; Imperial College London; Oxford University Hospitals; and UCLH, alongside collaborative work with colleagues in Turkey. Mr Keskin also manages lower urinary tract symptoms and benign prostatic enlargement, delivering patient-centered pathways that combine lifestyle measures, medication, and minimally invasive surgical options where appropriate.

As stone lead at Oxford University Hospitals, Mr Keskin is involved in service modernisation and the adoption of new technologies. His interests include high-power holmium and thulium fiber laser platforms, single-use flexible ureteroscopes, suction sheaths, and digital endoscopic systems to enhance efficiency and safety. He is active in training and quality improvement throughout the stone care pathway.
