Mr Satheesh Iype

Mr Satheesh Iype is an accomplished consultant surgeon specialising in liver conditions and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery, which covers procedures related to the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. He is also well-versed in liver transplantation. He currently practises at the Cleveland Clinic London Rapid Access Gallbladder Unit at the Cleveland Clinic London. 

Mr Iype has a wealth of experience in the field of hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, and successfully completed his MBBS at the Mahatma Gandhi University in India in 1997. Mr Iype’s main areas of expertise include both cancerous and non-cancerous conditions affecting the gallbladder, liver, bile duct, and pancreas. He regularly performs complex surgical procedures for liver and pancreatic cancer. Mr Iype's specialist interests also include general surgical procedures for hiatal hernia, incisional hernia, and abdominal wall swellings. 

Impressively, he was awarded the European fellowship in transplant surgery. He is a member of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, the International Liver Transplant Society, and the British Transplant Society, and has published extensively thus far in his career.
