Mr Sean Ramcharan is an experienced consultant laparoscopic general and colorectal surgeon. He sees patients at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital and has a specialist interest in advanced minimally invasive surgery. Mr Ramcharan has thorough expertise when it comes to performing surgery to treat the gallbladder, hernias, as well as other gastrointestinal, colorectal and perianal problems. Mr Ramcharan is an expert when it comes to managing bowel conditions such as diverticular disease, colitis, IBS, and bowel cancer. He frequently performs flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and polypectomy.

Mr Ramcharan undertook further advanced laparoscopic training in complex rectal and minimally invasive transanal surgery in Holland. Having performed over a thousand laparoscopic operations and over 500 laparoscopic hernia repairs, Mr Ramcharan is one of few expert consultant colorectal and general surgeons with such a breadth of experience. He has an excellent track record of superb patient pain and comfort satisfaction scores. He is also an active researcher, contributing work to peer-reviewed medical journals and for the Universities of Birmingham and Warwick.
