He took the time to listen to my concerns, rather than just push his professional ’ opinion on me ( that a rarity these days) and you felt like you had his attention as well as his time. - I have been so pleased with my experience of surgery by Dr Shilen Patel. At the first consultation he explained very clearly and in detail what my operation would entail and the possible risks, but without scaring me. This gave me a lot of confidence for the day of the operation, and the surgery went very well. When dressings were removed 10 days after my operation I was really surprised to see how neat the wound was, and it was healing nicely.
