Dr Shin-Young Cho

Dr Shin-Young Cho is a consultant dermatologist and medical director based in Central London, specialising in treating a range of skin conditions, including acne, moles and skin cancer, alongside all skin-related problems such as rashes, eczema and warts. She also has a deep passion for skin longevity, blending science and artistry to promote long-term skin health.

Dr Cho undertook her medical training at the University of Cambridge and her clinical training at Imperial College London, graduating with honours and multiple merits. She completed a sub-internship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Harvard Medical School, earning a distinction. She then progressed through general medical and specialist dermatology training at prestigious hospitals in London and the South East of England, and was awarded an Academic Clinical Fellowship with the National Institute for Health and Care Research, where she undertook research in skin cancer and dermatology. She has also represented the UK on the Euroderm Excellence Diploma programme during her Dermatology Specialist training, which recognises outstanding young dermatologists across Europe. Dr Cho is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal Society of Medicine, and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. She was named as a ‘dermatologist to watch’ in the 2026 Tatler Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetics Guide and received a ‘Great Patient Experience award from Doctify in 2025.

Dr Cho offers care for the full range of dermatological conditions and concerns, with particular focus on same-day mole removal and skin lesion surgeries. She has particular expertise in skin cancer screenings, which includes dermoscopy; the management of general issues, such as rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and inflammatory skin diseases; and minor surgery. She also adheres to advanced dermatological sciences and innovations, such as Korean ‘glass skin’ methodologies, skin boosters, collagen stimulation, polynucleotides, and laser procedures.

Dr Cho and her patients’ results have been featured in respected journalistic publications such as Vogue, Ella, Mari Claire, Glamour, Women’s Health, Who What Wear, The Telegraph, and The Daily Mail. She is committed to advancing her field and has presented her research at national and international conferences, with publications in respected scientific journals.
