- Excellent treatment, support and care from Simon, Clair and all the team. 12 months since a knee replacement and I am so grateful to have had Simon recommended to me. Gave clear advice and support, excellent surgery at the Lister and after care also excellent. Nothing I could suggest to improve upon. Thanks to everyone involved.
- I recently underwent a two-stage knee operation under the care of Mr. Simon Thompson and I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism, skill and care that both he and his team provided throughout my treatment. From the very start, Mr. Thompson took the time to ensure I was fully informed about my condition and the range of treatment options available. He explained each stage of the process clearly and the results have been very positive.
- I had a total knee replacement with Mr. Thompson in November 2025 and I can’t really put into words how absolutely delighted I am with the result. From my first consultation Mr. Thompson was kind and professional and put me at ease about the procedure as I was extremely nervous. Now, 8 weeks later I am pain free and my knee is the best it’s been in a very long time. I cannot recommend him highly enough. His whole team were helpful, in particular Clair who was really supportive.
- Best professional i ever seen, great communication through out surgery and after care. Caring and Empathetic approach to me as patients, something that made me feel relaxed and in good hands.
- Everything has been great. The only thing I would say is that Mr Thompson occasionally forgets he isn't always treating top sports people. For example it was suggested that I see the physio 2-3 times per week after surgery. Whilst I appreciate this would be ideal it would have meant I had used my private healthcare cover in two weeks!
- Simon reconstructed my ACL and a badly damaged meniscus 3 months ago. Since then, I've been doing great in my rehab and made significant progress with no pain, discomfort or setbacks every week, contrary to many forums discussing post-ACLR experiences. I haven't experienced any complications with lack of muscle activation/growth, returning to full ROM and so on. Overall, I think Simon lives up to his status as one of the best ACL surgeons in the UK, and I recommend him fully. His work is amazing
- Impressed by Simon’s professionalism and efficiency
- Outstanding throughout. Simon Thompson's approachable and compassionate manner made me feel respected and listened to. Thanks to Simon’s skill, my knee is repaired and I’m back enjoying active hobbies at 3 months, soon to return to competitive sport.
- Simon Thompson and his team are fantastic throughout the journey: pre-operation, the operation itself and post-operation. Cannot be faulted throughout.
- I saw Mr Thompson to solve persistent problems with my left knee, he was excellent, friendly, informative, punctual and very professional, I am pleased to say my surgery has been very succesful and my knee is now pain free, thank you for all of your help and guidance.
