Professional statement
Dr Swapna Mandal qualified in medicine at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School, and after completing her medical rotation, she specialised in respiratory medicine, finishing her postgraduate training in London. Following a period of research, she earned a PhD from King’s College London for her work on ventilatory failure, and has since presented at international conferences and published in leading peer-reviewed journals, focusing on novel diagnostics and management of sleep disordered breathing.
