- I was delighted that Mr Mahmud offered me the opportunity to become pain free. All the staff from Mr Mamhud and his excellent and empathetic secretary Jo, and to all the staff at Spire Regency gave me professional . And friendly care. I cannot thank them enough for making my journey from first meeting to Consultant Discharge an experience where I felt I could trust than and they all cared about my being well.

- Very good doctor who I would recommend to a friend if required. Dr Mahmud has an excellent bedside manner who puts his patients at ease with clear and concise communication on your condition and any concerns you may have.
- I had a partial knee replacement with Mr Tahir Mahmud and am extremely pleased with the outcome. My knee pain is much reduced and flexibility has improved significantly. I’ve also noticed less hip pain, likely due to improved knee alignment. Mr Mahmud is clear, honest, and very reassuring, with a genuinely friendly manner. I would highly recommend him.
- Excellent from first consultation in 2017 through to total knee replacement in November 2025. I opted for the Velys robotic assisted surgery and have made an excellent recovery. Highly recommended!
- A kind and sympathetic doctor who did a wonderful job on my injured leg. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you Mr Mahmud.
- ACL, LET and meniscus repair. Originally wanted to go through the NHS but an 18 month waiting time for surgery pushed me towards private. I arranged a consultation with Mr Mahmud after meeting him in August as an NHS consult, however towards the end of September I arranged a private consultation and not 2 weeks later I was going for surgery - everything was smooth, felt very comfortable throughout the process, he explained all the risks perfectly and the hard recovery that was too follow.
