Dr Tayaba Iqbal is a highly experienced consultant dermatologist with over 20 years of clinical practice. She is the skin cancer lead and former clinical lead of the Dermatology Department at Leighton Hospital, part of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In addition, she leads the department’s phototherapy service, paediatric dermatology provision, and clinical training programme.
With a strong background in education, Dr Iqbal has previously worked as an assistant professor of dermatology. She continues to mentor and supervise junior doctors while delivering specialist care across the full range of dermatological conditions. She runs dedicated paediatric dermatology clinics and has particular expertise in skin surgery and the early detection of skin cancer. Her practice covers disorders affecting the skin, hair, and nails.
