Mr Tim Biggs

Mr Tim Biggs is a highly experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon, Rhinologist and Facial Plastic Surgeon, specialising in disorders of the nose and sinuses, nasal breathing problems, and functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty/septorhinoplasty.

In private practice, he sees patients at Medicana Winchester and Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital for nasal, sinus and general ENT conditions, and at Adnova Clinic in Fareham, where he has a particular focus on rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty. Within the NHS he works at at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust.

Mr Biggs has extensive experience in rhinology and nasal surgery, including rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty, septoplasty, nasal valve surgery, turbinoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery. He treats nasal obstruction, chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyps, post-nasal drip, allergy and structural abnormalities of the nose.

A major focus of his practice is functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty. He performs both primary and revision surgery and uses advanced techniques including dorsal preservation, structural, and Piezo (ultrasonic) rhinoplasty. For complex and revision cases, he is also experienced in nasal reconstruction using donor rib cartilage and fascia grafting.

Mr Biggs graduated in medicine from Cardiff University and began his career as a British Army Medical Officer. He completed higher ENT training in the Wessex Deanery, was awarded a PhD in Rhinology, and subsequently completed the British Rhinological Society Advanced Rhinology Fellowship and further fellowship training in advanced rhinology and facial plastic surgery.

He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, delivered over 30 national and international presentations, and received more than 25 prizes, awards and fellowships. He teaches on a number of national sinus and rhinoplasty courses. He is on the GMC Specialist Register for Otolaryngology (ENT), is a member of ENT UK, the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and the British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons, and holds the Royal College of Surgeons of England Cosmetic Surgery Certification in nasal surgery.
