Mr Tony Chalhoub

Mr Tony Chalhoub is a distinguished consultant gynaecologist based in London, practising at leading centres including The Princess Grace Hospital (HCA), The Harley Street Women’s Health Clinic, Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital, The Platinum Medical Centre (HCA), The Wellington Hospital (HCA), and Spire St Anthony’s Hospital. He specialises in endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain, hysteroscopy and colposcopy, as well as ovarian cysts and menstrual disorders, including heavy and irregular periods.

Mr Chalhoub has extensive experience in advanced gynaecological surgery, with a particular focus on robotic-assisted procedures. He has played a key role in developing and refining minimally invasive surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes, reduce recovery times and enhance surgical precision. His expertise includes complex gynaecological procedures such as hysterectomy, myomectomy, and endometrial ablation, as well as cancer prevention and screening.

Mr Chalhoub, who was trained in both the UK and the USA, has been a driving force in robotic gynaecological surgery. He previously served as director of the Northern Centre for Gynaecological Surgery at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where he led one of the largest and most complex gynaecological surgery units in the UK. Under his leadership, the centre became a national referral hub for complex cases, with a high volume of robotic procedures performed each year.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Chalhoub is a recognised leader in surgical education and innovation. He is chair of the Robotic Surgery Committee of the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and actively contributes to the development of robotic and minimally invasive surgical standards.
