Mr Vijay Manda

Mr Vijay Manda is a consultant surgeon and colorectal surgeon in Glasgow, specialising in haemorrhoid surgery, anal fistula and anal fissures, alongside piles (haemorrhoids), endoscopy and bowel cancer. He privately practises at eXroid - Glasgow, and his NHS base is NHS Ayrshire and Arran, where he is a locum consultant surgeon and colorectal surgeon.

After graduating in 1998 from the University of Calcutta, Mr Manda moved to the UK to pursue advanced surgical training. He completed his Basic Surgical Training in Somerset and undertook research in coloproctology at University College London. Furthering his expertise, he earned a Diploma in Advanced Surgical Practice from Cardiff University and trained at renowned surgical units including UCL, Kings College Hospital, and Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells before settling in Scotland for additional surgical training.

As a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS), Mr Manda has extensive experience in colorectal surgery, including laparoscopic procedures and general surgical treatments such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy and hernia repairs. He is highly skilled in treating anorectal conditions, offering various treatments for haemorrhoids, including rubber band ligation (RBL), transanal haemorrhoid dearterialisation (THD), Milligan Morgan haemorrhoidectomy and eXroid electrotherapy.

Mr Manda is enthusiastic about the benefits of eXroid, a minimally invasive treatment for haemorrhoids. This clinic-based procedure, which requires no anaesthesia, allows patients to receive effective treatment with minimal disruption to their daily lives.
