Mount Alvernia Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, has been treating patients in the Guildford area for almost 90 years, providing outpatient, day-case and inpatient services across a range of specialities including orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, women’s health, gastroenterology, gynaecology and dermatology. The hospital has 60 beds over five wards, three theatres, 15 consulting rooms and an ambulatory care unit which includes two Theatres for minor surgery. The hospital’s extensive imaging department houses CT, MRI, X-ray, digital mammography, ultrasound and bone densitometry, alongside a nuclear medicine department. It is one of the only private hospitals in the area to provide PET CT scanning.
