In July 2023 Alberto replaced my leaking Aortic Valve. My memories of a time of great stress was that Alberto is not only a brilliant surgeon but is also a very kind person. Prior to the operation he was always available and addressed any issues I had very quickly and clearly. Post operation in hospital either himself or his brilliant anaesthetist Dr Maria Maccaroni visted once and often twice a day everyday which was very reassuring. Once I was discharged from Hospital Alberto made it clear he was always available via email for any concerns I might have. The best way I can sum up my experience under the care of Alberto is that if family or friends were ever in a similar position I would not just recommend Alberto I would insist they contact him. I will always be grateful for his brilliance and kindness.

Mr Albanese exuded confidence in my CABG x3 to be performed by himself and the rest of the surgical team. He took time to explain everything and reassure me. The operation went well . I can now look forward to seeing my children and grandchildren grow older. A wonderful gift.

Whilst the surgical team were excellent, the hospital setting was not great eg the food was very poor and the room was very noisy. Little consideration was given to getting good sleep.

I recently had a treatment for varicose veins done under the care of Dr Jibawi. He has proven to be competent, knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with my case and concerns. He makes sure he explains everything to you and addresses your concerns so you can make a well- informed decision regarding your treatment plan. After the treatment was carried out, the level of improvement and healing was evident and it felt great to see the outcome unravel gradually afterwards! His medical approach is mostly focused on the results rather than anything else. His staff are friendly, approachable and always ready to assist. Mr Jibawi is kind, professional and skilled, and I would definitely highly recommend him for any treatment within his area of specialty and expertise.

We’ve been seeing Dr Giardini now for the past four years after our son was diagnosed with an ASD. Throughout all the consultations to the surgery and now to the yearly reviews, he has been absolutely amazing. To hear that our son had a heart condition was such a huge shock but what really helped us during the entire process was having Dr Giardini treat our son. He has always been so thorough, very patient and is always happy to answer all our questions in person, via email or over the phone. As a mother, I became really anxious but I honestly believe that by having Dr Giardini as my son’s consultant, the whole unfortunate experience was made much more easier to deal with. If you are in need of a heart specialist for your child, then we would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Giardini. As a mother of a now four year old child who went through open heart surgery at 8 months of age, I don’t write this review lightly but with honesty to help other parents get the same support that we did from an amazing Doctor.

Dr Lo Giudice is overall a very knowledgeable Doctor. In my personal experience on the day, I suggest he could assist his patients feel more at ease when they may be in a vulnerable preoccupied position, by explaining more carefully on what he intends to do and why, prior to undertaking exams, particularly when there are to be additional associated costs with any further not planned investigations; It is paramount to ask patients if they agree to this first. A better dialogue between Dr and patient, Dr and reception and reception and patient would be appreciated also.
