Alex Torrie is definitely a Top Doctor. Kind, caring and absolutely professional. Totally human with a sense of humour and able to communicate and explain procedures clearly. I feel very fortunate that I chose him for my procedure.

I found that Mr Torrie had a personable and pleasant attitude during my consultation with him. He explained clearly all aspects of my condition and answered my questions fully. He went through the images of my X-Rays and MRI scan pointing out all issues.

Very satisfied with my whole experience, everything was explained step by step with the treatment I received and Mr Torre made me feel safe and secure when I had my procedure talking me through each step of the way.

My Torrie listened to my concerns and has helped me decide upon a treatment plan. Thoroughly assessed my issues. Plenty of time to ask questions. Ran through all my scans with me. Great initial consultation with a plan moving forwards.

During a consultation I will try my upmost to answer all queries that you have, but it is not unusual for patients to subsequently consider additional questions on reflection of the complex discussions during their consultation. If there are a few straightforward questions that need addressing then a direct email, asking those specific questions, to my secretary at the hospital that I consulted with you and I will happily reply answering these queries to try to help you further.If the queries are more extensive and you feel would require more of a conversation then I can organise either a telephone or face-to-face follow-up to try to address these queries for you. I hope this response is helpful and I will await your further instruction if indeed it is required.

took my mother in to see mr torrie, he put my mother at ease straight away she and myself were very impressed his clear explanation with everything plus his very caring friendly way.

Unable to find a consultant in my home area to perform my surgery, I was very fortunate to be put in touch with Mr Torrie. He assessed the facts and carried out the fusion on my spine.The whole procedure was professional and a great success. Very grateful

In my two consultations with Mr Alex Torrie, I found him to be extremely pleasant and approachable in manner. He gave clear explanations of my condition, potential surgery with the risks involved and ordered an extra test in order to be thorough.

I found Mr Torrie friendly always professional and honest with me, and explained everything fully and answered any questions or concerns I had.

Alex has a lovely manner and was so nice to deal with. My procedure was a great success and he spent the time reassuring me when I felt a little nervous being in hospital on my own. He was great and I telephoned his PA to let him know how well I felt!

Professional, reassuring, listens, provides practical and realsitic solutions, explains the problem and what can be done to resolve it. Just wish he was in Cheltenham more often, as one day every other week means a long time for appointments .

Thank-you very much for your kind comments. In response to your suggestions I have added an additional clinic on the 1st Thursday of the month in Cheltenham so I am available 3 out of 4 Thursdays now instead of 2 out of 4.
