New scientific research using a standing CT scan has allowed scientists to see how the foot looks and behaves in a functional standing position inside shoes such as high heels. In this video you will see the scans of foot inside a high heel and how the weight of the body is pushed onto two pea shaped bones in the foot called the sesamoids. Mr Goldberg will explain whether high heels cause hallux valgus or bunions.
