A warm, supportive and sympathetic doctor who listens to the patient. Transmits her extensive professional expertise sensitively and without being patronising. I came away feeling very reassured.

Easy to understand.

It was terrible road conditions , with road works which I was notified in advance by the staff otherwise I would hve travelled with someone . I became quite anxious as the road works dominated access to the hospital. I was in a nervous wreck even before

had list of symptoms& questions, wasn't allowed to ask them. Told you came for my professional opinion that's what I'm giving you. painful shoulder and instead of asking me to lift as far as I could, she yanked it up and I shouted in pain. No sleep last night in so much pain

I am so sorry to see your comments, which I can assure you, I take very seriously. I apologise sincerely that my assessment of your shoulder caused you discomfort - I was not aware of this during your examination. I know you travelled a very long way for another opinion on your symptoms, and I am sorry that you did not find the assessment helpful. It became apparent during your appointment that your symptoms and the effect these have had on your life are very complex. In my own opinion, these symptoms are not caused by a neurological disease, and I believe I assessed you and your symptoms thoroughly, to provide a clear and well-founded diagnosis. However, even though there was enough time to evaluate you from a purely neurological point of view, it would have been better in light of the complexity of your specific case, to have a longer appointment for a longer discussion and explanation of my diagnosis . I am very sorry that you felt I did not listen to all your concerns and questions, which was certainly not my intention. I can assure you I take your symptoms very seriously and consider them in my diagnosis. I had not been aware that you were not satisfied with your assessment and I will arrange another appointment for a further discussion, which I hope will be helpful,
