I was referred to Mr Von Widekind following many years of extreme pain and bleeding. From the first appointment Mr Von Widekind was extremely professional, explaining in detail the scan results which confirmed endometriosis, adenomyosis and a cyst on my left ovary. I was given recommendations and options on treatment to think about and at my next appointment we decided that a subtotal hysterectomy would be the best option for me. On the day of the operation Mr Von Widekind was fantastic, he put me ease and again explained exactly what would happen during the surgery and answered all my questions. I am now three weeks post surgery and feel amazing. I cannot praise Mr Von Widekind and his team enough. I would highly recommend him to anybody, I am so happy that I was lucky enough to have Mr Von Widekind as my consultant!

Mr Von Widekind is very approachable. He made me feel comfortable and confident about the hysterectomy taking time to explain everything thoroughly. My operation wasnt straightforward however Mr VW completed it with minimal cuts and scarring allowing quicker healing.

Mr Von Wodekind is kind of a doctor that every woman should have throughout her life. I couldn’t recommend him more.

Following my GP’s concerns around my lower abdominal bloating and pain, I was seen by Mr Clemens von Widekind. To my complete surprise I had a 5 cm cyst on my right ovary which proved to be a right ovarian endometrioma and required a Laparoscopic right Oophorectomy and bilateral salpingectomy under general anaesthetic, as part of a day surgery. Within 4 weeks of diagnoses, I had the procedure in the morning and by the end of the afternoon I was up and about, and on my way home. I followed the medical advice and kept to light duties and plenty of rest, this enabled me to be back to my normal routine within 2 weeks. 3 weeks following the procedure I was discharged from Mr Clemens von Widekind and considered the procedure a success. From initial consultation through to final post procedure review, I felt reassured and supported in every aspect of my care by Mr Clemens von Widekind. His gentle professional manner and clear logical communication enabled me to understand what was happening within my body and appreciate the need for the procedure. At all times I felt complete ownership over decisions, any worries or concerns I had were very quickly addressed so as to not feel any anxiety or confusion. I would 100% recommend Mr Clemens von Widekind, he is not only an expert in his profession, but also an extremely kind and considerate person. Thank you Mr Clemens von Widekind.
