This is Luke Horsfield's viral LadBible video reviewing his HAIR TRANSPLANT journey. We performed a repair for him at our Yorkshire clinic. This video contains before and after surgical images. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luke describes his ordeal during his first hair transplant in Turkey. He was duped into thinking he would be having a procedure by a doctor in a hospital when in fact there was NO doctor in the actual surgery and the hospital was run down with poor hygiene standards. Luke was surprised how painful the procedure was in Turkey, how he was left with an extremely scarred donor area and poor growth. Luke talked about his nightmare in Turkey on a YouTube video which was shown to the lead surgeon at the Hair Dr Clinic. When Dr Arshad saw the video it immediately struck a cord with him and he felt compelled to help Luke in anyway possible. After Dr Arshad met Luke and assessed his scalp he felt he could improve Luke’s situation with a two stage plan. Firstly to repair the growth issue with another 1000 FUE hair grafts and secondly to camouflage the scarring with a medical ink (a process called scalp micropigmentation). After just over 3 months Luke describes how the second operation in the UK by Dr Arshad was ‘worlds apart’ .. with minimal discomfort and the surgeon performing all aspects of the procedure it meant the difference in quality was night and day, this can be seen in the results. Luke’s hair looks much more natural. He is very pleased with his repair and wants to raise awareness through media channels to warn people not to go to Turkey.
