I was first introduced to Marc Laniado in March 2020 (at the beginning of the Covid lockdown). The NHS was unable to treat me following an initial TU Biopsy which showed the presence of prostate cancer but not the precise grade or extent. A TP biopsy was needed. During the subsequent 3-year period under Mr Laniado’s care, his advice and treatments were exemplary. I was offered an immediate TP Biopsy followed by mpMRI scans, PSMA/PET CT scans, a HoLEP procedure, and finally a HIFU procedure. The cancer is now in total remission (PSA 0.3) and he has discharged me from further consultations and treatment subject to routine PSA tests on a six-monthly frequency for the next 3 years. At every stage he was careful to explain the procedures and tests in detail, together with the risks and potential after-effects, in a highly professional manner. The success of my treatments are a testament to his widespread expertise and surgical skills.

Mr Laniado was an excellent surgeon dealing with my prostate cancer. I was uncertain following my diagnosis. Mr Laniado was decisive but made sure I was fully involved in the resolution process. In terms of his skills, I can say that I recovered rapidly with few side effects

Mr Marc Laniado is at the pinnacle of his profession. An extremely busy consultant who strives to achieve the optimum outcomes for his patients. A great communicator who will put you at ease and give you the confidence to deal with the challenges.

I am a GP with a family history of prostate cancer. A rise in my blood PSA level sent me searching for a Urology Consultant with recognised expertise in the most advanced techniques of investigation and treatment of early prostate cancer. Mr Marc Laniado is exactly the expert I was hoping to find. At every stage he discussed with me the best options, many of the consultations carried out remotely as I live far from London. His secretaries arranged appointments for multiparametric MRI scans; targeted biopsy under general anaesthetic; and HIFU (high intensity focussed ultrasound) to the cancerous area. They provided me with quotes from three private London hospitals (I do not have private health insurance). The whole process has been completed quickly and without pain or undesirable after-effects. I cannot recommend Marc Laniado and his team highly enough.

I experienced several excellent consultations where Mr Laniado went through the options available to me and very patiently answered my questions as well as investigating my symptoms. He puts you at ease, was never rushed and took time to discuss everything as much as I needed. Each consultation was followed by a comprehensive letter summarising test results, options etc for me and my GP. I had urinary symptoms due to PBH and whilst there was no pressure for any particular procedure I decided to have an aquablation treatment as this seemed to have the least side effects, seemed least invasive and was quicker to heal. This is also an operation, fairly new, that Mr Laniado is one of the few experts in the UK on. The operation went extremely well I think - I only had 2 days off work after 2 days in hospital and within a week or so I felt I was back to normal. I'm really delighted with the results, I believe I have a permanent solution compared with a lifetime on medication, I've kept full erection and ejaculation ability (my main worries about any surgical or medication solutions if I'm honest!). Overall I would definitely recommend Mr Laniado, clearly an expert in his field but also due to his calm and sympathetic manner, and also I would recommend the aquablation treatment if possible over other options.

Marc IS the ANSWER, (for US, and could be for you) and THE ONLY one in the world who can do what he did for us, a a Robotic retzius nerve sparing prostatectomy. My husband is ALIVE, and LIVING with joy!

As good as an experience as could be given

I would highly recommend Mr Marc Laniado. My condition was quickly diagnosed and I received world class advice and treatment by Mr Laniado and his wider team. My treatment options were very clearly explained. My recent HIFU treatment was a complete success and I was able to go back to work within a day of the procedure. Very informative and polite

This was a follow up visit after a HOLEP surgery. The surgery was a success and it was confirmed by the flow rate test and a PVR ultrasound. I'm grateful to doctor Laniado for the relief of my BPH symptoms and for his support post-surgery.

A life saver and a brilliant human being

I consider myself extremely fortunate meeting Mr Mac Laniado for treatment of my prostate cancer. He was very polite and helpful and explained to me in detail the advantages of HIFU procedure to treat prostate cancer. I received excellent advice and swift treatment form Mr Laniado and had no pain after the procedure and most importantly, my post HIFU MRI scan imaging showed that all the bad cells were killed off. I consider myself very lucky.

I have received excellent treatment from Mr Laniado. He was most thorough and methodical, and combined this with an excellent bedside manner. He was always polite and helpful - taking time to explain the reasons for arranging various investigations. When the results were back, he ensured that I was told the results of all the tests.
