Professor Birchall was amazing, he was so compassionate and understanding and caring. Took his time and wasn’t rushed. Clearly knows all he is sharing. There should be many more doctors like him, who care about the suffering EDS can cause to patients. Cant recommend enough. .

How refreshing it was to meet Professor Birchall ENT at The Platinum Wellington. Such a lovely man. I had a Fantastic experience. He was so welcoming & friendly with an extremely kind and caring nature and he really put me at ease immediately with his friendly gentle down to earth approach.  I have had many hospital appointments over the years and  it is very rare to find someone that you instantly feel relaxed with, it really does make all the difference. Professor Birchall is amazing it’s exceptionally rare to find someone that is first class in every aspect. It goes without saying extremely knowledgeable but at the same time very caring and understanding. Which means a lot to me. He took his time to genuinely listen to my concerns, and he took time to explain absolutely everything. And for me personally l walked out with a smile thinking how nice it was to meet such a genuine consultant and and how extremely satisfied l was with how my consultation went. Which is unusual for me as I usually forget things l feel are important to mention. Thank you Professor Birchall I’m sure I’m not the first person to tell you this you are a very rare breed !
