You should have specified the date of the consultation you are asking about. I had one before my op, and another after. I have combined the two. Wait time refers to time I had to wait before the actual operation.

The follow up appointment with Mr. Tutton is too long after the operation. It may be useful to at least see a nurse to review the wound In about 2-3 weeks.

My hernia repair was last January, it was a complete success and I look forward to continuing gardening and picking up my grandchildren.The wound is healing well and the surrounding scar tissue is getting softer and thinner as Mr Tutton suggested

I can not fault my stay. Friendly and caring consultants and nurses. Clean throughout. Having a private room with en suite instead of a ward makes having to go into hospital so much more relaxing.
