Mr Patel was very reassuring and kind. I knew my appointment time was 30 mins, and had been worried that it wouldn't be enough time to address my long list of questions and concerns. Mr Patel covered all of them before I needed to ask.

Nik did my MVD surgery and the success of the operation has changed my life. Considering this is elective surgery and was provided by the NHS proves how great this country is. He's right up there with the best in the world of neurosurgery.

Mr Patel is one of the most kind, modest and empathetic doctors I ever came across. He listens to the patient's concerns, is very easy to talk to, and he was the one who found a solution to my lower back pain associated with herniated discs. I would recommend him to everyone.

Mr Patel is without doubt the best Consultant I have seen. He diagnosed and solved my continuous headache which I had for 10 years. I had been to Consultants in Exeter, Plymouth and London to no avail. Mr Patel saw immediately on the MRI the problem.

Nik will only operate if really needed and that is a great approach for back issues. If you can tolerate the pain, it seems that the back can often heal on its own, with advice and support, but obviously not always! Nik will help you work out your options without pressure.

My wife suffers with trigeminal neuralga . Nik has treated her for 4 years and has managed my wifes extreme pain and has been avaliable even during Covid , NHS Wales were unable to help so we travelled to Bristol . Her condition is under controll with Niks proffesional help .
