Dr Richard Parker is an accomplished consultant hepatologist practising privately at the Spire Leeds Hospital, and specialising in steatotic (fatty) liver disease and alcoholic liver disease. Dr Parker additionally practices at the Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust, which he has done since 2017.
After graduating from the University of Bristol in 2005 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, he underwent training with the NHS for four years. In 2009 he became a member of the esteemed Royal College of Physicians. He has dedicated his career to clinical practice and laboratory research, and he is interested in immunology, and the interface between metabolism and immunity.
