Dr Nijjer is the best cardiologist I have ever met. I have had a diagnosis of Artial Fibrillation for 20 years and saw lots of doctors in different countries, including the UK. I was very lucky to book an appointment with Dr Nijjer just before the pandemic. In spite of living with AF for many years I wasn’t very knowledgeable about it, each episode was very scary and I didn’t know what to do and how to behave. The only option which was offered to me by other doctors was to go to an emergency department and have an amiodorone cardio version (which every time caused enormous stress, extremely low heart beat and cost lots of money). Dr Nijjer very patiently and very clearly explained to me the nature of AF, and he prescribed me an anticoagulant (he stressed the necessity of it and very professionally gave instructions on how to take it). He suggested further investigations, including a cardiac MRI, echocardiogram, Holter and blood pressure monitoring. During the pandemic Dr Nijjer was always there when I needed him. He always answered my emails advising what to do. Having completed all the investigations last September, I now have a very different understanding of my AF. Dr Nijjer prescribed me the Pill in the Pocket approach. All my family and I are very grateful to Dr Nijjer. We are very lucky to have met him. What is more, after catching Covid in early June I experienced missing beats and palpitations. And again Dr Nijjer was the only doctor who could very professionally explain the cause and helped me cope with them. I would highly recommend Dr Nijjer and would like to thank him wishing him all the best.
