Mr Andrew King is an experienced consultant neurosurgeon whose clinical practice is based around two fields: degenerative spinal disease and skull base neurosurgery. In addition to his private practice at The Alexandra Hospital, Mr King has been a consultant neurosurgeon at The Salford Royal for 20 years, where he is clinical director of surgical neurosciences.

Mr King is strongly committed to the teaching of new surgical trainees, and runs an internationally acclaimed sub-specialty training fellowship in skull base neurosurgery which attracts trainees from the UK and abroad. In recognition of his extensive experience and significant contribution to neurological research, Mr King was appointed Honorary Professor of Neurosurgery at The University of Manchester.
