Dr Charis Kyriakides

Dr Charis Kyriakides is a highly regarded consultant general/upper GI surgeon based in London who specialises in gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomy), abdominal pain, and open and laparoscopic hernia surgery. As a JAG accredited upper GI endoscopist, Dr Kyriakides is also highly proficient in diagnostic procedures such as gastroscopy.

Dr Kyriakides, who consults privately at HCA UK at The Shard and at HCA UK City of London, qualified from Semmelweis University School of Medicine in 1997 with distinction. He received undergraduate training at the renowned Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital in France and completed his primary surgical training at the Evaggelismos General Hospital in Greece. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England since 2019.
