Dr David Neal

Dr David Neal is a highly-revered consultant gastroenterologist and physician based in Sussex. Dr Neal is highly-experienced in a wide range of gastroenterological conditions and procedures. His areas of expertise include inflammatory bowel disease, dyspepsia and gastro-oesophageal reflux, chronic liver disease and investigation of abdominal pain and change in bowel habits. He is very experienced in gastroscopy and colonoscopy, performing these procedures on a weekly basis.  

Dr Neal graduated from Southampton Medical School in 1990, before going on to do his postgraduate training in Southampton, Leicester, Norwich and Cambridge. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2003 for research work completed whilst in Cambridge. For many years he was the East Sussex clinical lead for cancers of the stomach, oesophagus, liver and pancreas. He practises privately at Sussex Premier Health in Hastings and has clinics in Hastings and Eastbourne.
