Professor Jian Farhadi

Professor Jian Farhadi is a consultant plastic surgeon who is highly specialised in aesthetic breast surgery and breast reconstruction. These include breast reduction, reconstruction after weight loss and reconstruction after a mastectomy. 

Professor Farhadi's medical education began with his graduation from the University of Basel. He continued at the University of Basel and proceeded to qualify in general and plastic surgery in 2007 before ultimately becoming licensed as an associate professor. 

Regarding his expertise in reconstructive surgery, he specialises particularly in using the patient's own fat from the thigh and buttocks to shape the breasts.

Professor Farhadi is very active in the field of breast surgery; not only is he the current Chair of the London Breast Meeting, an annual conference with some of the world's most skilled professionals in attendance, but he is also the co-director of the Masters in Breast Surgery Programm and the founder of the BRA (Breast Reconstruction Advisory) foundation, a registered charity that raises awareness about the variety of breast reconstruction options.

He has participated in and published numerous research publications and further contributes to the breast surgery industry by sharing his knowledge and experience in the form of lectures on an international scale.
