Dr Jugjinder Singh is a consultant child & adolescent psychiatrist working for The Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust based in Burton Upon Trent since 2013. He completed his general psychiatry training from East Midlands Deanery School of Psychiatry.  He then went on to complete higher training in child & adolescent psychiatry in the same training scheme in Leicester.

He is a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) and a regional speciality representative in the West Midlands for child & adolescent psychiatry. He is approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act by the Secretary of State in having expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. He currently holds approved clinician (AC) status.

Dr Jugjinder Singh is the medical lead in the Mental Health Function of The Children and Families Care Group in the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. His expertise is highly regarding and he is a recognised appraiser for consultant colleagues. Being the former clinical director of children services in the same NHS Trust he has overseen service development and quality improvement initiatives.

He specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, ASC), emotional disorders of childhood, anxiety disorders and childhood trauma.
